Ahmad Saraji has been in detention illegally for weeks now without a proper, fair, and open trial. The reason for his imprisonment and illegal detention is that he wrote about the atrocities of the regime in Iran and expressed his views. He is a freedom loving individual and a Weblog writer (http://ariuoz.persianblog.com/). He is on hunger-strike protesting his mistreatment and his detention.
We urge all human rights organisations and those who fight for freedom of speech, freedom of expression and those who generally care for the individuals who seek such freedoms to take action and join together to seek the release of Ahmad Saraji. The people, humanitarian and human rights organisations of the free world should not turn their back on Sarajh who simply expressed his views against a tyrannical regime. Please help us save Ahmad Saraji and protect freedom of expression. Please act now as time is running out for Ahmad Saraji.
